Hello everyone. My name is Leeann. I had a very hard life prior to coming to the shelter. I was a neighborhood stray that had to scrounge for every scrap of food that I could find. People weren't always nice to me and life was very difficult. Luckily I happened to stumble across the porch of a shelter volunteer who began feeding me. With time she was able to bring me into the shelter where I am now comfortable and happy. I really enjoy being petted on my chin and behind my ears. I can be timid at first but once I warm up to you I will purr up a storm.
